Whole numbers or decimals
Leave Decimal places at 0 for whole numbers, or set it between 1 and 10 to get values such as 42.7 or 0.3815. Every value at the chosen precision is equally likely, which makes the tool useful for simulations, sample data, and classroom exercises about probability.
Draws without repeats
Switch on No repeats to draw numbers without replacement. This is how raffles, lotteries and seat assignments work: once a number has been picked it cannot come up again. The tool tells you when you ask for more unique numbers than the range contains, for example 20 unique numbers between 1 and 10.

How it works
Numbers are drawn with crypto.getRandomValues, a cryptographically secure random source built into every modern browser. Unlike Math.random, it is not predictable from earlier output, so the results are suitable even when fairness matters. Ranges can be negative and can go up to JavaScript's safe integer limit.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are these numbers truly random?
They come from your browser's cryptographically secure generator (crypto.getRandomValues), the same source used for keys and passwords. Each value in the range has the same chance of being picked, and nothing is sent to a server.
Are the minimum and maximum included?
Yes. A range of 1 to 10 can return both 1 and 10. With decimal places the bounds are included at that precision, so 0 to 1 with two places can return 0.00 and 1.00.
How do I pick lottery numbers without duplicates?
Turn on 'No repeats' or use the Lottery 6/49 preset. Numbers are then drawn without replacement, like balls from a drum, and you can sort them ascending for easy reading.
How many numbers can I generate at once?
