Random Car Generator

The Random Car Generator picks a random car make and model – a Toyota Supra, a Volvo XC90, a Ford F-150, a Porsche Taycan or a Fiat 500. Filter by where the brand is from and by body type, add a random model year and paint colour, and generate one car or a whole garage.

Options

  • Make origin – American (Ford, Chevrolet, Tesla, Jeep…), Japanese (Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Subaru…), German (VW, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche), other European (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Volvo, Renault, Land Rover, McLaren…) and Korean & Chinese (Hyundai, Kia, Genesis, BYD, Nio, MG).
  • Body type – sedan, SUV, hatchback, coupe, pickup truck, sports car, wagon, minivan, convertible or electric.
  • Model year – none, recent (2018–2026), used (2005–2017) or classic (1960–1999).
  • Random color – adds a paint colour such as British racing green, pearl white or matte black.

Ideas

Video game challenges. Roll a car and race it in Forza Horizon, Gran Turismo, Assetto Corsa or Need for Speed. Make it harder by rolling only hatchbacks or minivans.

Drawing and design. Car designers and illustrators use random models as warm-up sketches, or redesign a random car in a new style.

Car spotting games. On a road trip, generate five cars and see who spots them first.

Writing. Give each character a car that fits – or doesn't fit – their personality. A random colour and year adds believable detail.

Shopping inspiration. Not sure what to look at next? Generate used-car ideas in your budget's body type and read up on each.

How to use
