Image Beautifier — Make Any Image Look Polished

Plain images look much better with a little breathing room. The Image Beautifier puts your picture on a colorful gradient background, adds padding, rounded corners and a realistic drop shadow, and exports a ready-to-post PNG or JPG. It is perfect for product shots, mockups, blog thumbnails, portfolio pieces and social media posts — no design software needed.

Features

  • Eight gradient presets plus any solid color or a fully transparent background.
  • Padding, corner radius and shadow sliders with a live preview.
  • Optional macOS, Windows or browser window frame with a light or dark title bar.
  • Social media sizes: 16:9, 1:1, 4:5, 1.91:1 (Open Graph) and 9:16 — your image is centered and never cropped.
  • Download as PNG or JPG, or copy the image straight to the clipboard and paste it into Slack, Figma, Notion or an email.

How it works

Everything is drawn on an HTML canvas in your browser. The image is scaled down to the maximum width you choose (it is never upscaled), clipped to a rounded rectangle and drawn over the background with a blurred shadow underneath. Because nothing is uploaded, you can safely beautify confidential designs and unreleased product images.

Design tips

Pick a background that contrasts with the dominant colors of your image — a cool ocean gradient behind a warm photo, a soft peach behind a dark interface. Generous padding (60–120 px) feels premium; small padding works for thumbnails. A shadow value around 30–50 gives depth without looking heavy.

Working with screenshots of apps or websites? The Screenshot Beautifier starts with a browser frame and address bar. For code snippets use Code to Image, and to only round the corners try Round Corners Image.

Frequently Asked Questions

It places your image on a gradient or solid background with padding, rounded corners and a soft drop shadow, optionally inside a window frame, and exports the result as a PNG or JPG ready to share.

Yes. Choose Transparent as the background and download as PNG. The rounded corners and the shadow keep their transparency, so the image sits nicely on any web page or slide.

Use 16:9 for Twitter / X and presentations, 1:1 or 4:5 for Instagram posts, 1.91:1 for Open Graph link previews and LinkedIn, and 9:16 for stories. The canvas grows around your image so nothing is cropped.
