How are paragraphs detected?
A paragraph is a block of text separated from the next one by at least one empty line. Single line breaks inside a block are treated as part of the same paragraph.
How long should a paragraph be?
For web content, 40–80 words (2–4 sentences) per paragraph is comfortable to read, especially on mobile. Academic writing often uses longer paragraphs of 100–200 words.
My text shows only one paragraph. Why?
If your paragraphs are separated by single line breaks instead of empty lines, they are counted as one block. Add an empty line between paragraphs and they will be counted separately.
