YouTube Looper

Repeat any YouTube video, or just one section of it, as many times as you like. Paste a link, choose where the loop begins and ends, and the embedded player replays that part automatically. It is handy for practising a guitar riff, learning a dance step, memorising a speech, studying a language clip or playing ambient music on repeat.

How to use it

  1. Paste a YouTube link or an 11-character video id.
  2. Optionally enter a loop start and a loop end. Seconds, m:ss and h:mm:ss are all accepted.
  3. Press Play loop. The video starts at the loop start and jumps back each time it reaches the end.

Use the Sample button to try a short example clip straight away.

The tool understands standard watch links, short youtu.be links, Shorts, embed and live links, and music.youtube.com addresses. Extra parameters such as tracking codes or an existing timestamp are ignored, so you can paste whatever you copied.

Looping a section versus the whole video

  • Section loop. Set both a start and an end time. The player checks the playhead several times per second and seeks back to the start once the end is reached.
  • Whole video loop. Leave both boxes empty. When the video finishes it restarts from the beginning.
  • Open-ended start. Give only a start time to skip an intro and still repeat until the video ends.

Tips for practice sessions

Pick a loop of a few seconds around the passage you struggle with, then widen it once it feels comfortable. Use the playback speed option in the YouTube player menu to slow a hard section down. The summary box shows the current position, a counter of completed loops and a link that opens the video at your loop start so you can share it.

Privacy

The video is streamed from YouTube inside its own player. The link and times you type stay in your browser and are not stored by this site.

Frequently Asked Questions

Plain seconds (90), minutes and seconds (1:30) and hours, minutes and seconds (1:02:03) all work. Leave the start empty to begin at 0:00 and leave the end empty to loop the whole video.

The player comes from YouTube, so an ad blocker, a strict privacy extension or an offline connection can stop it. Some uploaders also disable embedding for their videos, which YouTube reports inside the player itself.

Yes. Keep the Loop on switch enabled and the video repeats without limit. Turn it off to let the video play through once, and use the completed loops counter to see how many repeats have happened.
